Summary: Nino feels as if he is the only person in the world who has to go to bed early on New Year’s Eve, especially when his much needed sleep is disturbed by someone setting off fireworks on the roof terrace above his head. He angrily races upstairs, determined to make them cease and desist. But as soon as he sees the distressed face of his new neighbour, Nino decides that sleep can wait.

Warning: This story contains mentions of the death of an unnamed character in the past.

Notes: This story started out with a fluffy beginning, veered off course and took a darker path through the middle, but ended with the possibility of a brighter future. Kind of an analogy for 2020 when you think about it. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone. Let’s hope that 2021 is kinder to us all.

Title: The Day After Valentine's Day

Pairing: Sakumoto, Ohmiya (side)

Genre: romance, hurt/comfort, misunderstandings

Summary: It is Valentine’s Day when Sho receives an SOS from Ohno. Sho is needed to take care of Jun, who is in danger of ruining Ohno’s romantic plans for the evening with Nino. Jun, who is on his way to drinking the bar dry, doesn't see what all the fuss is about. It doesn't help that Sho is the last person Jun wants to see on the most romantic day of the year.

Summary: Jun has only ever loved one man, and after their breakup he never expected to ever hear from Sho again. Five years later, Sho unexpectedly contacts Jun with an impossible request. For an entire weekend, they have to pretend to still be a couple in front of Sho’s extended family. Despite his fears that his heart may not survive the experience, and against his better judgement, Jun agrees to the outlandish scheme.
