Summary: Nino feels as if he is the only person in the world who has to go to bed early on New Year’s Eve, especially when his much needed sleep is disturbed by someone setting off fireworks on the roof terrace above his head. He angrily races upstairs, determined to make them cease and desist. But as soon as he sees the distressed face of his new neighbour, Nino decides that sleep can wait.

Warning: This story contains mentions of the death of an unnamed character in the past.

Notes: This story started out with a fluffy beginning, veered off course and took a darker path through the middle, but ended with the possibility of a brighter future. Kind of an analogy for 2020 when you think about it. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone. Let’s hope that 2021 is kinder to us all.

Summary: Sho stood back to admire his handiwork with a satisfied smile. The tree was not the straightest, or the most beautiful, and it was definitely too tall for the room, but it was the first live tree he’d ever had at Christmas. The needles gave off a soft scent when touched, warming Sho’s heart.

Note: This short Christmas story contains mild flirting, cute pets and mildly snarky Nino. To me no festive season is complete without at least a few of these things. Merry Christmas everyone!

Summary: Beneath the scent cancelling soap that Miyama wore to work every day Sho could still detect Miyama’s faint scent. The fever had soured it, altering Miyama’s natural scent of pine needles and spring rain into something which made Sho’s stomach knot with concern for his bond-mate. Although Sho was worried, he knew better than to initiate any close contact or intimacy with Miyama in a public place. Intensely private, Miyama saved all of his affection for Sho until they were safely within the walls of their apartment.

Notes: I have decided to do something a little different for Jun’s birthday this year. Since I am a glutton for punishment I have written my first ABO fic and included my first drama series characters and pairing as well. So I am interested to know what you guys think.
