Jun did not have a happy childhood. His father is indeed a monster, and unfortunately men like that are often untouchable.
There are other things that happened in Jun's life that he hasn't revealed yet, so don't be too hard on Sho. It wasn't his fault.
The village will do their best to protect Jun while he tries to sort out his life.
