I think that the fact that Sho and Masaki had a relationship together also makes it easier for them to know what the other is feeling and to instinctively know how to help.
Masaki would love to be married, it's just Nino who might need a little push.
As you said, Nino and Jun are both very young and this has been a really big change in their lives.
