In his own way he meant well I think, wanting to sort out his life before involving Jun, but he should have thought of the consequences of how it would have seemed to Jun before running away like that. Especially when he knew how vulnerable he was. Bad Oh-chan.
I guess he could express himself better through his art than with words.
